Christ and Culture
The following are links related to the class I took entitled church and the world. It was an interesting look from a mostly sociologists perspective on many of the cultural trends happening within the American church. Though we take most of this stuff for granted, I found it quite enlightening to critically look at the spirit of this age. It’s easy to condemn the past or other cultures for their sins, but we are no different. We are just as capable of being corrupt and deceived by our own cultural values because we are blind to them.
